This is our venue location! Although there are limited rooms available here, it’s a beautiful location right on the beach! And because it is a boutique venue, down payments need to be made via wire transfer. Please email Escondite at ventas@escondite.mx to book a stay here. Marea Beachfront Villas

This was our second choice for a venue! This is a 5 star luxury resort located right on the beach with poolside service, a restaurant right outside your door, and beautiful views of the ocean. Although this place is GORGEOUS you will not want to leave! If you do end up staying here, make sure to make a day trip into the village of Barra de Potosi to see its charm! Rating: 9

Hacienda la Rusa

Hacienda la Rusa is a very special place for us! Not only have we stayed here every time we visit Barra de Potosi, but also our good friends who also own the stray animal rescue, Amigos de Animales (see homepage for more on this), opened this small Inn almost 20 years ago. This amazing Inn in the heart of Barra de Potosi consists of roughly 8 private suits for 2 people each, with a common pool area, free breakfasts made-to-order every morning, and is a short 1 minute walk to the beach! Would highly recommend staying here. Rating: 5

Situated just next door to Hacienda la Rusa, Casa don Pepe is also right on the beach and features simple rooms with access to the village, beach, and the common pool and breakfast area. This place is so homey we almost decided to just get married here! Rating: 4

This place is AMAZING! Very rustic, but El Nido is the community center in the heart of Barra de Potosi. If you want free yoga every morning, and the feel of a Hostel vibe, this is the place for you. Friendly people, and a great way to get involved in the village. Rating: 3

Another hostel in the heart of Barra de Potosi. Located right across the street from our favorite taco restaurant Dona M's. She has been making tacos by-hand for 50 years and will make your tortillas right in front of you! Rating: 2
