Where to Stay in Dubrovnik

The Wedding Website of Oliver Setka and Sonia Gill
HOTEL vs VACATION RENTALS There are many hotel/resorts available around Dubrovnik that can provide you with a relaxed and luxurious stay. However, during the peak season (June till October) the hotels can be priced high. Another great option is booking an apartment through sites as: airBNB Vrbo.com Booking.com hotels.com Dubrovnik has a ton of apartment/vacation rentals available at good rates. This is what we would recommend for your accommodations. WHICH AREAS TO STAY IN: 1. Old Town is the centre of the city enclosed by stone city walls and is the main tourist attraction, where most takes place. No cars allowed in Old Town. 2. Lapad and Babin Kuk are more peaceful and offer spacious areas with lots of great beaches. Hotel Neptune is within this area. The area is a 10-15min drive from Old Town and wedding venues. 3. Pile and Ploce are areas located closest to Old Town, which were the original names of the historic entrance gates to the city. Pile is Near Lovrijenac Fortress.
