Salisbury is right off the Appalachian trail. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast there are plenty of hikes and other outdoor activities to enjoy. There are two beautiful lakes in town- Lakeville Lake and Twin Lakes. While a small town it is full of history and cute shops. Lime Rock Park, a historical race track is located in Salisbury as well. You are not far from Massachusetts and a short trip from charming Berkshire towns. You are also able to take the train into New York City if you are looking for a day long adventure.
