Oliver and Hannah met in a typical millennial fashion: online. We went on our first date to Pawleys Front Porch in Five Points, where we traded “war stories” of our late-night shenanigans in Columbia’s college bar district. We discovered that while we both love college football, we are on different sides of the Palmetto State rivalry, as Oliver is a die-hard Clemson fan and Hannah is a Carolina Gamecock, go COCKS! Since then, it has been over three years of car shows, races, adventures, 47 South Carolina State Parks, numerous national parks, many trips, and most importantly, a lot of laughter. Oliver proposed at Hanging Rock State Park outside of Mt. Airy, NC. It was just the two of us and our dog, Tommie. After hiking down to a waterfall, I was taking a picture when Oliver dropped down on one knee, and as I turned around to show him my photo he asked me to marry him. I responded with, “Are you f***ing kidding me?” I was in complete shock. We are so excited for the next chapter of our lives as husband and wife. We are grateful to have our family and friends by our side on our wedding day to join in our celebration.
