Dress Code: Formal wear in bright, bold colors 🌺✨ Men: Suits in black with bright dress shirts and ties, colorful suits, or barong in rich tones or statement shades. NO WHITE BARONG. Women: Long dresses or elegant cocktail attire in vibrant hues. NO WHITE DRESSES Accessories and prints are welcome—feel free to express your style! Note: Kindly refrain from wearing white or light colors to let the couple shine on their special day. 🤍 THE CEREMONY WILL BE HELD IN A TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC CHURCH. Do men wear the traditional Barong Tagalog or can we wear suits!

Answer

Both are acceptable! We kindly ask that guests stick to brighter color barongs and not wear white.

Do women wear floor length dresses?

Answer

Please wear formal attire in bright, bold colors! Think vibrant jewel tones, rich florals, or striking solid hues. Floor-length gowns or elegant midi dresses are encouraged. Kindly avoid white, cream, beige, or other light shades to keep the spotlight on the couple.

Why should I not wear white?

Answer

Although it is Filipino tradition to wear ivory/white Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana, we would like to reserve the color white ONLY FOR THE COUPLE. :)

If traveling, when should we arrive?

Answer

Please plan to get to Manila, Philippines no later than the evening of Thursday 11/26/26. Please also note that there is a time difference. Philippines is ahead of US EST by +12 hours. Plan your travel accordingly :)

When do the festivities begin?

Our welcome dinner is for everyone! This will be on the evening of American Thanksgiving Thursday 11/26/26. Please join us for an evening of a fusion of the Filipino-American culture.

Will there be a planned excursion?

Answer

A planned excursion (Day Trip to Tagaytay) will be available on Wednesday 11/25/26 for those who arrive early

Are children allowed?

Answer

For everyone’s comfort and enjoyment, we kindly ask that children leave after cocktail hour. If you need assistance with sitters, please coordinate with the couple for recommendations.
