"We met through a common friend and didn't think much of it." -David "In high school, our lockers were next to each other, and we would eye gaze." -Olga We met in our sophomore year of High School shortly after we both moved to Florida to reside in Fort Myers. Our love matured throughout the years, starting with love letters, a song I- David- composed, and sandwiches we made for each other for lunch. Two years after our high school graduation, I - Olga- moved to Tampa, and I -David- followed my sweetheart. Long story short, 10 years later, we are still together, in love, and ready to celebrate our special day.

"Nos conocimos por medio de un amigo que tenemos en común, pero quién se iba a imaginar." - David "En el colegio ya que nuestros casilleros estaban uno al lado del otro y nos hacíamos ojitos." - Olga Nos conocimos en el colegio, en el segundo año de secundaria justo después de que nos movimos a la Florida para vivir del todo en Fort Myers. Una vez empezamos a salir nuestro amor fue madurando con los años. Pero todo comenzó con cartas de amor, una canción que David me escribió y los sándwiches que nos preparábamos de almuerzo. Dos años después de nuestra graduación, yo - Olga- me fuí a vivir a Tampa. Y yo - David seguí a mi amada. Para no hacer la historia tan larga, ya han pasado otros 10 años, falta decir que seguimos juntos, enamorados, y anhelando celebrar este día tan especial con todos ustedes.

We went to Colombia for the holidays, and I was ready to propose on Christmas eve. Well! Things didn't go as planned. So, the next day was my one opportunity to ask Olga in front of her entire family. On Christmas Day, we went to a restaurant away from the city where we were staying, Ibague. And to get there, we rode the famous Colombian party bus “la Chiva”. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, I pulled a Clark Kent and changed to a new wardrobe set to surprise Olga. I had the bartender play our favorite song, "Te Amo" by Axel, and after a double shot of whiskey, I courageously went up to Olga and kneeled and asked her to be my wife. She nodded YES!!! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Bogota!

En diciembre del 2019 viajamos a Colombia a pasar la Navidad y tenía planeado proponerle matrimonio en la Nochebuena, pero así no se dieron los planes. El día de Navidad nos fuimos en Chiva a un restaurante a las afuera de Ibagué, un restaurante campestre, muy bonito. Cuando llegamos al restaurante, yo fuí como Clark Kent y me cambié para sorprender a Olga. Le pedí al bartender que nos pusieran nuestra canción favorita “Te amo” por Axel. Después me tomé un doble de wiskey recomendado por Don Javier para calmar los nervios, me armé de valor, caminé hacia Olga y le pedí que fuera mi esposa. ¡¡¡¡Ella me dijo que si!!!! Estamos super contentos de celebrar la próxima etapa de nuestras vidas con ustedes. ¡Nos vemos en Bogotá!
