Where is the wedding?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Green Acres Event Center in Eden Prairie, MN.

Will the wedding be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors. However, there are outdoor spaces that will be available, pending good weather, for the cocktail hour, photo ops, and late night snacking!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue has an onsite, well-lit parking lot. No overnight parking is allowed.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RVSP by March 24, 2025

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no strict dress code. Based on the venue and existing decor choices, we suggest cocktail or formal attire.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome! Please just be sure to indicate if your kiddos will be joining on the RVSP so we can inform the caterer.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Invitations will indicate if there is the option to RVSP with a guest. If your invite does not include this, but you would like to bring a guest, please reach out to Jess or Zach!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Jess & Zach will be having a dry wedding, meaning that alcohol won't be served or permitted. A variety of other beverages will be available such as soft drinks and mocktails!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Our venue does not allow outside food and beverage.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy or special dietary requirement, please contact Jess or Zach to let them know so we can inform the caterer.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are lots of hotels in the area! However, a room block was reserved at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Airport. Please see the "Travel" tab for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

A shuttle will be available between the hotel and the wedding venue on the day of the wedding, Sunday, April 27th. A free shuttle also runs every day between the hotel and MSP Airport & The Mall of America. Please see the "Travel" section of our website for more information on the shuttle services.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes! There are elevators.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

The most important thing is to have you with us on our special day. No gifts are needed or expected, your presence is your present! If you do wish to give a gift, we have created a registry on Amazon. Please also see the "Registry" tab for quick access.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 11pm. There is no after-party.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Answer

Of course! Our wedding venue is less than 20 miles from the airport and twin cities! Fun activities while you're in town include a trip to the Mall of America or visiting one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes! If you like seafood, Minnesota is well-known for Walleye fish, and it is also a hub for comfort food, especially a classic hotdish. There is a large variety of bars or craft breweries in the area as well. Being near the city, the options are plentiful!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Minnesota is unpredictable! In the past few years, the temperature at this time of year has averaged between 53-68 degrees, but we recommend checking the weather before packing!
