Exactly 8 years before their wedding day, Zach and Jess met online. Zach was living in Minnesota and Jess was attending University in NYC. After a year of texts, phone calls, and video chats, they finally met in person for the first time when Jess spent a week in Minnesota. Their first date was lunch at Cadillac Ranch. While Jess finished school, they spent a second year apart, alternating visiting each other as often as they could. During that time, Zach relocated back to Colorado. After graduation, Jess moved to Colorado where she and Zach finally got to be together, nearly 3 years after they met. They spent 2 years in Colorado until Jess had to move back to New Jersey for work while Zach stayed behind to finish out his own work contract. They dated long-distance for another 2 years, keeping airlines in business with their frequent flights back and forth. With no end in sight, they planned a trip to Disney World together where Zach proposed to Jess in the airport (in her pajamas). Newly engaged, flying home to separate states was nearly impossible. 2 days after arriving home, Zach got the news that he got a transfer position in New Jersey that he had applied for months prior. Within a few weeks, he had moved out east where Zach and Jess rented their first home together, rescued a puppy, and ended the long distance for good! Up next? The wedding!
We are thrilled that this day is finally happening, and we can't express enough how excited we are to have our friends and family in the same place for the first time ever. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and made this day possible. We hope to see you all soon to celebrate!
