Maid of Honor
My sister from another mister. Not only did I gain a forever partner through my relationship with Ola, but I also gained the sister I never had. She is a beautiful person inside and out and is one of the most genuine human beings I know. I have been able to be myself around her since the day I met her; I quickly felt like we were soul sisters. I will forever be grateful that she is by our side throughout this journey.
Bridesman
My cousin who I can talk to anything about. He is always a positive soundboard when I need it the most. Even though he doesn't live in the same state as I do anymore, we always find a way to keep each other updated and motivated for the next challenge in our lives.
Bridesmaid
We were neighbors for most of our lives and have taught each other many different things (she taught me how to salsa). She is the perfect person to go to if you need a laugh or if you need a partner to sing and jam to 90's music with. She is an amazing momma to her son, Isaiah, and she will forever be family.
Bridesmaid
Gabby is one of the funniest people I've ever met and is always a good time. She is my incredibly talented artist friend who creates beautiful things and has always made me feel a sense of home when being around her. Whether we are with our partners acting like we actually like football at a U of H game or dancing our butts off somewhere together, I can always count on her for a good time.
Bridesmaid
We have known each other since elementary school, gone to college together, been roommates for a few years and have experienced A LOT of life together. I can always count on her for a wine night, to go experience a new yummy restaurant, or to sit down and chat about some good times.
Bridesmaid
We have known each other since elementary school and since then Maddy has always been a good time. Whether it was our shenanigans throughout our high school and college years, dancing at clubs, wine nights, or going to yoga, I have always felt her positive energy.
Bridesmaid
Idali is one of the most gentle people I know. When we are together, she is constantly making me laugh and making me feel like a big sis. She is always a pleasure to be around and I can always count on her for good conversation and valuable skin and makeup tips & tricks.
Best Man
From imaginary friends, to teenage years. From trying to make sense of life, to watching our family mature over the years. My big little brother has a fascinating way of seeing the world and I have had the pleasure of learning from him. He holds great conversation and if you’re looking for him, you can find him kayaking, in a museum, the art gallery, or snuggling with our dogs.
Groomsman
A childhood swimming rival, a teammate, and a trusted friend. Will is the best unqualified therapist out there; go find him and tell him about your life. If you’re looking for Will, you can find him teaching people to make beautiful sounds, your local Houston brewery, or… you might not since he’s likely hiking or camping in the woods.
Groomsman
At fourteen all it took to make friends was a mutual interest in rock music and the same last name. We’ve been lying to people about being cousins ever since. But really, we might not even be lying- we’re not really sure to be honest. Maybe go ask him and see what he says. You can find Marcelo climbing, playing video games, roaming the streets of Austin, or trying all the good (spicy) food in San Antonio.
Groomsman
Rolando has been there since middle school. All it took was a little push from UH to seal the deal. We’ve spent the last few years becoming one with Cougar sports, double dating, and experiencing the Houston night life. Rolando’s down for anything, go check. You can find him at emo night or literally any UH sporting event.
Groomsman
Ever seen anyone wear a suit at Zen circle? No? You’re missing out. Yes? It was totally Haris. From carpooling, living together, hanging out, and even working together, Haris is always present and sincere. Haris has eclectic interests and specific passions – go see what he’s up to now. You can find him performing and visiting at local comedy clubs or taking his dog on long walks.
Groomsman
Sleep overs, basketball, video games, and… Sunday mass? That was our friendship as children. Scott’s a childhood friend where “distance makes the heart grow fonder” always applies. From Houston, to Denton, to New York, and back to Texas we have maintained our friendship. I think he will be staying here, but you can go ask him. You can find Scott spending time with his wife, his dogs, and exploring his new home in Austin.
Groomsman
We’ve had our parallel lives since we met as children. From being nerdy little kids, weirdo middle schoolers, navigating through high school and welcoming adulthood, Norman has always been family and the most exciting part of family reunions. I’m happy that we’re still around for each other. If you need a good hug, you can find Norman loving on dogs, jamming out, or working on new art.
