Eric's side: Andrea and I were sitting across from each other at our pre-law fraternity's annual mock trial competition. I was stuttering, trying to get Andrea to crack, but I could only really focus on her glasses and quite attractive face. She may have won that competition, but we both won later that day. After the trial, we all went to a local pizza spot, No Anchovies, where I got to sit next to her and tell her just how much I liked her glasses while she tried watching TV. Whatever I said worked: I got her number, we grabbed some lunch (I told her it was for some planning stuff, lol) and hit it off. A lunch turned into a movie, and then we started seeing each other regularly for the next 8 1/2 years. Andrea's side: My team had just whooped Eric's team in our pre-law fraternity's annual mock trial tournament. We took his team out for pizza at No Anchovies (a Tucson fav), and since I came late, I took the only seat left, which was right next to Eric. Despite my attempts to focus on the Lakers game playing on TV, Eric interrupted me to say "I like your glasses." After some talking, I gave him my number so we could talk later about some fraternity activities he was planning (or so I was told). We ended up grabbing lunch a few days later to discuss these activities and ended up talking for a several hours about everything under the sun. I finally got the hint when Eric asked me to see a movie with him. I don't remember the movie, but I know the rest was history ;).
