Matron of Honor
Marie and Emily met in college at Black Hills State University while attending a Fall Retreat at Kamp Kinship. While sharing a blanket enjoying a bonfire, they immediately bonded over being from Wyoming, dessert, and hiking. After that weekend Marie and Emily spent a lot of time exploring hidden foot trails in Spearfish Canyon, watching Jane Austen movies, and eating froyo. Roommates (until she got married!) and best friends lead them to explore different National Parks, have meaningful conversations, and dreaming big together.
Best Man
Steven first entered into Avery's life at a Fifth Sunday Sing event at a local church in Gillette. At the time, Steven was just beginning his position as the worship pastor at a new church plant. The two began to talk about music, the new church plant, and the amazing work that God was doing in Gillette. Several months later, Avery found himself walking in the door of the church plant where Steven, and other friends had been attending. Immediately Steven walked up to Avery and asked him why he was there. The two eventually met up for coffee, where Avery shared about his recent enrollment at Calvary Chapel Bible College. Steven was looking into continued Biblical education himself, eventually enrolled as well, and the two continue to work in ministry in the same church.
Maid of Honor
Monica and Emily met in college at Black Hills State University, introduced as Marie's little sister. However they built up their own true friendship. After the first meeting in Marie's college campus apartment dancing to Taylor Swift's Red album, they created embarrassing videos (no one will ever see), ate dessert after every meal, went hiking, and traveling. Being roommates and best friends lead them to explore different National Parks, and have meaningful conversations.
Best Man
Forrest is Avery's older brother. We could just leave it at that, but these two have a quarter of a century of friendship, fighting, growing, and changing together. Forrest being 3 years older was always the protective big brother that kept an eye out for Avery his whole life, even into adulthood. Forrest is still considered the closest friend, the one who can read the thoughts of Avery just by looking at his face, and the man who always has logistical answers to most issues. Today, the two continue to fly fish and hike in the Bighorns, wrestle with Forrest's four children, and have deep conversations having to do with life and family. Even though the two couldn't be more different, they can still communicate like typical siblings without saying words of any kind.
Bridesmaid
Meeting at ages 2 and 3 respectively- Anna and Emily met while literally bumping heads on the way to a water fountain one Sunday at church. This led them to a life long friendship despite the two decades and hundreds of miles between them. Their different interests and likes are bonded by memories of make believe, imagination, and horses throughout childhood. They share more memories, awkward moments, and bad haircuts then they care to admit. Anna and Emily enjoy the times when they do get to see each other- eating food, traveling, exploring, and always horse riding.
Best Man
This man is who Avery aspires to be. Mike is Avery's father, and closest and dearest friend. Mike has been the father that was never afraid to discipline, teach, and love his wife and children the way that Christ loves the church. Mike has been the example and standard for Avery, of what it means to be a godly man. To this day, Avery seeks wisdom and advice from Mike, who has been an incredible example of unconditional love in Avery's life. Mike and his wife Robynn, Avery's mom, have been a pillar of what it means to be a God fearing couple, having been married 35 years and counting, raising their four children in the church, under grace, and with the Gospel of Christ being at the center of their home. Avery hopes to be the man that his father is, and is thankful for his upbringing.
