Matron of Honor
We met in college and were instantly friends. Distance and time have only strengthened our relationship. When I had the opportunity to move to Pennslyvania for a job, Rachel and her husband David opened their house to me until I could find an apartment. We have laughed together, cried together, prayed together, and worshipped together. I can't imagine getting married without her by my side.
Best Man
One of my oldest friends, we got to know each other working on our Aunt and Uncle's farm. As kids we did a lot of crazy things together as kids. Thru all the crazy times in life, college, getting married, having children, we always have remained good friends. Now for the last 10 years or so we have worked together. It makes the work day go along easier when you get to work with your best friend.
Maid of Honor
If I ever needed a sister, it would have been Erica. My older cousin on my dad's side who shares a lot of the same Italian features, we were sometimes mistaken for the other. I know that I was annoying growing up, but I'm glad that I can call this fearless, dedicated, hilarious woman family.
Groomsman
I met Rob when he joined the Fire Department. He has always been the class clown if you will. Even when times were a tough Rob always has had something funny to say to lighten the mood. We both work for School's maintaining buses, which makes for some fun conversation when there is a difference of opinion.
Bridesmaid
Amanda was a senior at RIT when I was a Freshman. We met through our Christian group on campus. We spend many days chatting via Facebook and sending funny photos to each other. She has helped me grow my photography skills, but more importantly, she has been a rock in my life. She was a voice of reason when I was irrational. She was a listening ear when I needed to vent. I never want to take our friendship for granted. I don't know where I would be without her.
Groomsman
I knew Aaron in high school, but we became friends as volunteer Firefighters at the Cobleskill Fire Department. I drove a truck for him for his business, and we hang out from time to time. He's always been a good friend to me through the hard times and even asked me to be a groomsman in his wedding. I'm honored to have him as a groomsman in our wedding as well.
Bridesmaid
I first knew Maggie from afar. Then she was my boss. Then she became my friend. We've worked together at two different jobs (in two completely separate industries) and collaborated on many projects. She has been my photography model and guinea pig for ideas. I admire her tenacity and drive. She pushes me to continue to grow, supports me in my walk with God, and is always around for a random day of crazy adventures. As my local best friend, I'm so happy to have her by my side on my big day.
Bridesman
Joe is my (Elizabeth's) oldest friend. We've known each other since Kindergarten. No matter how long it has been since the last time I've seen him, it's like time hasn't passed. He has pursued God with his whole heart, through life's many trials. I'm impressed by his work ethic and integrity. We can quote Disney songs, play the piano together, and share memories of old times. Our love for cats and funny jokes will never fade away. Thank you for agreeing to by my "Bridesman"
