When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would appreciate an RSVP as soon as possible. We understand that it can be hard to make a decision about a destination wedding, especially factoring in Covid, cost and time off. Given the nature of a destination wedding, plans are fluid until we get a firm head count of who can attend so the sooner we can know the better! We hope you can make it!

How do I book my room?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms for our wedding guests at the Moon Palace Nizuc. There is a link at the bottom that you can use to reserve your room. Please copy and paste the link into your browser to reserve your room within our room block! How much does a room cost per night?

Answer

The room cost is $335.00 per room per night. This rate includes two adults. If you would like to add people to the room it is an additional $117.00 per person per night. The limit is 4 people per room. Children under 4 years old do not pay. Whats included: a.All-Inclusive (Food and Drinks, including alcoholic beverages) per room. b.The prices stated are in US Dollars. c.Taxes and gratuities included. d.Children under four years old do not pay. e.Ground transportation Airport- Resort- Airport. Only applicable with a minimum stay of four nights and are subject to availability.

Are kids invited?

Answer

The ceremony will be invitation only as there is a limited number of guests that can fit the space. We understand that some of you may choose to bring your kids with you and make a vacation out of it, but we encourage you to come as adults only! If you chose to bring your little ones, please make arrangements ahead of time if they are too young to stay alone. We are making this recommendation due to the number of adult activities we have planned for our wedding week, and don't want our guests to miss out on some of the fun!

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

The Cancun International Airport is just 15 minutes from the Moon Palace!

Do I need to arrange for transportation to and from the airport?

Answer

If you have booked 4+ nights at the Moon Palace Resort, airport transportation will be included in your stay. Each member of the Group will be responsible for booking the transportation service a minimum of two weeks in advance. The reservation may be made via e- mail to the following email account: transfercancun@palaceresorts.com Transfer Reservation may be made through the following site https://transfers.palaceresorts.com/ If reservations are not made according to the above there will be no credit or refund, without exception.

Is there a minimum stay required?

Answer

There is a 3 night minimum stay required, but we'd love for you to stay longer if you are able to!

What are the dates of the room block and can we extend our stay?

Answer

The dates of the room block for our wedding is Friday, November 11, 2022 through Wednesday November 16, 2022. You will have access to the group rate for each night stay through our room block. If you would like to stay longer, you can absolutely extend your stay outside of those dates but the rate will be whatever the resort room rate is for that time. Yes! If you are interested in sharing a room with another couple/person please reach out to Colleen and I can connect you with other guests who are interested in the same! There can be up to 4 people per room! Please text me at 616-745-1325 and I will get you in touch!

What do I do if I book a room and our travel plans change due to changes in itinerary or other reasons?

Do you need to carry money at an all- inclusive?

Answer

This is only a recommendation! Although everything is paid for up front we recommend bringing single bills for tips! We usually carry $100 1 dollar bills (per adult) to tip out throughout the week for the resort staff.

Why did you choose a Monday wedding?

Answer

Although a Monday wedding is non-traditional, it made the most sense when considering our guests. There is a 3 night minimum stay at the resort and this would allow for the least amount of time off of work for those guests concerned about time off.
