Let me set the scene. It was cold but clear on the night of February 4th 2022. Gabriel had only been living in Georgia for 2 weeks and had already secured a date with the hottest broad in town. He arrived at the set location, Gate City, as suggested by Ohara (the Hot Broad). The downtown streets of Roswell were bustling with music and middle-aged singles who had too much to drink. Gabriel watched as the needle on his watch ticked on 30 minutes past the agreed-upon time of 7:00. "Okay so she's late, but I'll wait for her" he thought as he gulped down the last sip of the bitter ale he ordered to calm his nerves. Suddenly a melodic vibration ran through his phone as he saw the name "Ohara-Bumble" appear on his screen. With one finger plugging his ear to block out the boisterous noise of the bar guests, he answered with a sweet and gentle "Hello". On the other side of the phone, a panicked voice without a single beat said "Oh my god I'm so sorry that I'm running late, I left my car keys in the house and then my sister had to come back to unlock the door and I had to bring my dog Bonnie-she's hairless but she's cute, you're gonna grow to love her- and I have no idea where I am and it's so busy here. Where is Gate City? Where did you park? I am trying to find parking but I'm terrible at driving and I'm even worse with directions". Gabriel was patient and did his best to direct the girl who grew up in the area to the bar that she had picked. They remained on the phone until Ohara arrived. Upon arrival Ohara said "Where are you? I'm in a pink sweater and I have my dog in a sling bag on me." Gabriel replied "I think I'm behind you, turn to your right" to which Ohara turned to her left. The rest is history.
