This cute, independent movie theater shows a mix of classic and international films. This theater is a cozy spot paired with an outdoor bar and restaurant that will also serve you as you are watching the movie. We love having date nights here, drinking sangria and eating their fried cauliflower!
Winter Park is a town just north of Downtown Orlando, home to beautiful homes on a historic chain of lakes connected by old logging canals. Winter Park Scenic Boat tours takes you out on the water and shares the fascinating history of the area while enjoying the beautiful scenery. They’ll even point out homes once belonging to Tom Hanks and Mr. Rodgers! After your boat ride, spend some time walking around Park Ave enjoying the popular shopping and dining area.
Winter Garden is a cute town just west of Downtown Orlando and north of Walt Disney World (Betsy used to live over here before we bought our house!). The center of Downtown Winter Garden is called “Plant Street” and is home to an assortment of shops, restaurants, and even a popular local brewery - Crooked Can. Winter Garden also hosts one of Orlando’s best Farmer’s Markets every Saturday. It’s a great place to spend a morning walking around and taking in the sights!
Coming to Orlando? Betsy would say it’s a crime to not visit Disney! While you’re in town for our wedding, it should be the annual Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot! But it doesn’t matter if you’re spending the day in one of the theme parks or just visiting Disney Springs for a few hours, there is plenty to do at Disney!
When in Orlando, visit the theme parks! Universal is home to two theme parks and makes for a fun day of thrills!
