Groom
Father of the Bride
Olivia-Jo's Dad, Shannon, will be walking her down the aisle. Upon being asked, her Dad wiped a long-awaited tear from his eye and expressed how he wished this moment would have come sooner, for she will no longer be his problem anymore... It will truly be the best day of his life.
Best Man
Ollie and Tom have been glued together since they were toddlers, surviving everything from dodgy music to even dodgier hairstyles. They’ve shared more bad ideas than we can count—most of which will thankfully never be mentioned here. So when it came time for Ollie to pick a Best Man, Tom was the obvious choice: who better to stand by his side than the guy who’s been a bad influence since day one and still has the dirt to prove it?
Mother of the Bride
Annalisa, Olivia-Jo's Mum, will be participating in the handfasting, alongside Ollie's Mum, as there are no special moments for mothers during a wedding ceremony. Her Mum is hoping that her newly married daughter will finally buy her own tupper-wear, (and maybe give the housekey back that she's had for all these years). Whether she’s arranging flowers, helping with last-minute details, or having a giggle on the phone, her love and support shine through. Today, she’s beaming with pride as she watches her daughter marry the love of her life, ready to dance like nobody's watching.
Mother of the Groom
Carol, Ollie's Mum, will be participating in our handfasting, alongside Liv's Mum, as there are no special moments for mothers during a wedding ceremony. Ollie’s mum: the real MVP behind boy-mums, the queen of wine tasting, and the original reason Ollie even knows how to tie his shoes. She’s been there through every scraped knee, dodgy school choirs, and questionable fashion phases (we won’t mention the mullet). Today, she's here in full proud-mum mode, probably armed with tissues, snacks, and a few unsolicited life tips—because some things never change! One son down... one to go... the cruise life awaits her!
Bridesmaid
Olivia-Jo had to bribe her sister, Grace, to hang up her yard boots and Equidry coat for the day to be her bridesmaid. If you happen to find any horse treats or random bits of hay on the day, then they probably have come from her pockets. Grace has also said that no, she will not be doing her sisters nails for her wedding day, as in the past Olivia-Jo has made her sit there and do her nails for 2 hours straight... getting annoyed each time they weren't perfect enough.
Sister-in-Law of the Groom
Ollie's sister-in-law, Lou, is a resilient and strong-willed woman who has faced many of life's challenges head on, and emerges stronger each time. She is a devoted dog mummy to a crazy Jack Russell, Luna, whose constant wagging tail shows Lou's love and compassion. Being a true Hufflepuff at heart, Lou embodies kindness, and determination in all she does. Her love for highland cows speaks her appreciation for all the quirky and endearing things in life. We are both so honoured to be surrounded by such loving and caring people on our wedding day, Lou being one of them.
Brother of the Bride
Caleb wanted a job and so instead of 'giving away the bride' he will be 'selling her' as per the true history behind this tradition. Olivia-Jo and her brother are very close, and so she wants him to have fun as a VIP for the day. He made his sister promise that she wouldn't have her wedding at the weekend as he'd miss either karting or an F1 race... but she had to draw the line at walking down the aisle to the F1 theme tune though...
Father of the Groom
Ollie's dad is the kind of person who leaves a lasting impact. He's the one who first got Ollie into music, blasting classic riffs that made him head bang before he could walk, and has helped spark a passion into all things heavy metal. Much to Liv's dismay this includes having numerous guitars and equipment in the house; Christmas and Birthday Lists just consisting of 'strings'; and a constant noise that sounds similar to dinosaurs dying instead of actual singing. However this does mean that most of Ollie's clothes are the same... a black t-shirt with some strange writing on it... saves loads of time when doing a dark laundry wash!
