Madison and Taylor met at 16 years old as sophomores in high school. They heard of each other through mutual friends who were dating, but Taylor slid into Maddie's DM's on instagram. They first met in person when Maddie went to a baseball game of Taylor's. They went on a group date to dinner at Wood Ranch after his game (still one of Maddie and Taylor's favorite places to eat in CA) but they were instantly best friends. Fun fact: Maddie's car got broken into while they were eating dinner lol. Taylor and Maddie dated the rest of high school and straight into doing long distance for college in 2019. Long distance consisted of transferring schools, fall/spring/and summer baseball seasons in many different states, internships, mission trips, jobs and PTO, and a lot more. Taylor proposed to Maddie the weekend before he graduated college, 4/25/24. After over five years of long distance and seven years together, Taylor joined Maddie in Texas the summer of 2024
