When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Final headcount is due to our venue by May 1, 2024. However, our room block rates are only held through March 26, 2024. You can still book after March 26, but rates and rooms will be subject to hotel availability. You can secure your booking with a $100.00/room deposit. The deposit is refundable with an e-mailed cancellation prior to March 26, 2024.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Yes! Please check your invite for your +1, and provide us with your guest’s name if we do not have it. While we can only accommodate invited guests at the wedding, feel free to have additional guests and family join you on your trip to the DR and take advantage of our room block.

What dates should I book?
Answer
The room block is secured from Wednesday, July 10th- Monday, July 15th. The resort requires a minimum of a 3 night stay, however, you are welcome to stay as long as you’d like! Please speak with the travel agent for options if you'd like to extend your stay outside of these dates. Feel free to arrive/depart any time within those dates. If you want to partake in all the wedding week events, it's recommended that you arrive Thursday, July 11th and depart on Sunday or Monday.

Can I book outside of the room block?
Answer
You can stay at any resort of your choosing and book however you feel most comfortable. For convenience, the room block contains pre-negotiated pricing that is lower than advertised rates. Booking through our travel agent ensures that your booking is stress free. In the unlikely event that you come across lower pricing for comparable room categories, please contact the travel agents to discuss price matching.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place on the beach. Dinner will occur in an open-air, covered restaurant. The reception will take place outside.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code is "beach cocktail." We would like you to be comfortable in the Caribbean sun, so we suggest something lightweight. No shorts or white please. Men: Think linen pants, Hawaiian shirts, and closed-toe shoes. Women: Think lightweight dresses that you will be comfortable with in the wind. There will be a wooden walkway to the beach ceremony, though the chairs themselves sit on the sand.

How do I get from the airport to the resort?
Answer
Private round trip group transfers will be added to your booking reservation for $60.00 per person for those flying together and $105.00 for those flying separately. If you’d like to reserve your own transportation between the resort and airport, you can email carolisa@barefootbridal.com to opt out.

How far is the hotel from the wedding venue?
Answer
It’s about a 10 minute drive and a 15 minute walk on the beach. Transportation will be provided.

Will transportation be provided to/ from the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes! We will provide a shuttle from the hotel to Kukua Beach Club. A shuttle will also take us back to the resort at the end of the night.

What is there to do at the resort?
Answer

Unless otherwise noted on your invitation, we want you to have the night off, so we are having an adults-only wedding!
