We met on a dating app. You could say it was love at first swipe, but our relationship really blossomed after our third date at the Texas State Fair. It went so well that somehow Ashley was able to convince Ryan to break his strict diet and eat a Fletcher’s corn dog for the very first time. Now they share an addiction to Ben’s Pretzels and working them off in the gym.

The day began with a scenic drive at 4am through the mountains of Wyoming. By the time the morning light had come in, we had just entered Grand Teton National Park. Ryan had something special planned for months but was COMPLETELY caught off guard by how hard this hike was — 8 miles round trip. Ashley was hoping this was THE trip but knew no sane person would propose after such a strenuous route. Somehow we made it to the top and were rewarded with one of the most beautiful views on earth. After lunch and a long breather in the shade, with Delta Lake as his backdrop, Ryan got down on one knee and asked Ashley to marry him!
