“Love is never something that is ready-made, something merely ‘given’ to man and woman; it is always at the same time a ‘task’ which they are set. Love should be seen as something which in a sense never ‘is’ but is always only ‘becoming,’ and what it becomes depends upon the contribution of both persons and the depth of their commitment.” – Pope St. John Paul II

Nuptial High Mass

10:30 am - 12:30 pm

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church
602 E Main St., Cabot, AR 72023

Please review the FAQs page for Dress Code and dispositions for reception of Holy Communion.

Marriage for Catholics is a sacrament wherein a man and woman exchange vows and enter a life-long covenant. For Odie and Marie, this union will be followed by a Nuptial High Mass, all taking place at a Catholic church where Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be truly and substantially present. The soon-to-be-newlyweds respectfully ask that all guests conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate to the solemnity of this event and respectful of the Divine Person of God the Son.

Reception

4:30 pm - 9:00 pm

This event is less formal than the Nuptial Mass, but the basic modesty standards of the dress code still apply. When in doubt, don't change clothes.

This is a closed event. Only those with invitations that specifically include the reception will be admitted.
