Free Onsite Testing at the Resort
Royalton Punta Cana Resort and Casino is offering to absorb the cost of COVID 19 testing, WHICH IS REQUIRED BY THE CDC WITHIN 3 DAYS OF RETURN FLIGHT/RE-ENTRY INTO THE US. They strongly encourage guests to schedule their appointment upon arrival to the property through our Guest Services team since there are currently many requests for this procedure. Test results will be available the same day. Please click below for more information about the on-site testing at the resort.

Dominican Republic's new Immigration E-Ticket
With social Distancing, the DR's Immigration department has initiated an E-ticket form to reduce the need for close contact while entering the country. It is recommended that you fill out the form before the trip, and print out your QR code for scanning upon arrival. (but they also provide kiosks at the airport if needed, unsure how complicated that would be but it's an option!)

CDC guidlines during COVID19
(Updated 05-03-2021) If you plan to travel internationally, the guidelines are changing to leave the US. However, before returning you will need to get tested no more than 3 days before you travel by air into the United States (US) and show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight, or be prepared to show documentation of recovery (proof of a recent positive viral test and a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel). There are many testing sites available to make travel back to the US easy. Testing can be arranged through the Resort prior to your return home.
