This one isn't 'fun' per se, it's practicality. For those from far away, or will be staying out late, consider one of two hotels. This one is a little way up from Godspeed, on Taunton Ave.

While we not recommend eating IN here (it's just so small), we cannot recommend eating FROM here enough. Also, it's directly next door to Godspeed.
Coffee and food! This one is within walking distance of Godspeed, and from where we will be living. There's a healthy chance you'll run into us here, non-scheduled, during the week.
It looks small from the outside, and it is rather. But it's a fun place, with good food and drinks! On a Friday night, it will be loud between both DJ and sports on the TVs.
A super cute place right off the main road which you can in fact miss if you're not actively looking for it. We've been here for both breakfast and dinner, and they have not disappointed. They're also allergy conscious, so big pluses there (just let them know when ordering)!
Bakery and coffeeshop. Unfortunately, they're not open very late (5PM), but they're hospitable, sociable, and friendly, with delicious baked goods and superb coffee, tea, and espresso lattes! Also only a 9 minute drive from the church, so that's pretty cool too.
Breakfast? Lunch? Yes. One of our favorites, but only open until 2PM (despite what google and apple maps tells you).
We're big fans of breakfast items all day long; we've frequented here for evening breakfast dinners.
A chicken-first place, built out of an old gas station. We've been here a couple times, and absolutely love it.
Coffee? What else is there to say. Also, our first date locale, so there's that too.
If you're interested in a calm, tranquil sit by the windy bay, Sabin point can't be more highly recommended. There's no food, no drinks, no traffic: just the view of the city, and the sound of the ocean.
We came here once, after a date in Providence. It's a small corner hidey-hole, but we enjoyed both food and drink with a lovely atmosphere.
We've yet to come up with a good way to describe this place. "Kinetic arcade", "escape rooms", "puzzle-rooms" all come to mind, but fail to explain well. We also wouldn't recommend coming here in dresses and suits, because it's a rather physical place. But don't let that deter you from coming!
A local brewery down the West End of Providence. A little bit noisy, but always a pleasure. While we haven't actually come here together as a couple, we have both been here independently and can confirm: good drinking. Arguably a point to be made: this place does beer primarily. You can get some other alcohols but no cocktails or mixed drinks here, nor food.
Ice cream!! Ice cream, frozen yogurt, sugar free, ice cream drinks, pints and quarts, toppings galore, waffle cones and bowls made before your eyes, and a scenic view of the local farm that provides the dairy! 15/10 rating, all year long.
Enjoyed the reception food, and want more? Say no more. Burgundian is open well into the evening (plus, they have karaoke on Friday nights, which we've been to and recommend! Unless the DJ comes to the wedding, in which case, probably no karaoke)
Locally owned, locally roasted, locally (and non-locally) loved. Only open until 3, so you can't go post-wedding.
