We’re getting married!

Marc and Alison’s love story began like many others…. at a bar. In October 2021, Marc started working as a bouncer at Mr. Lucky’s in Walnut Creek, where fate brought them together. Alison, a regular at the bar, quickly noticed the new employee who caught her eye. Every time she was out with her girlfriends, she made a point to flirt with him. However, it wasn’t until her best friend, Windy, took matters into her own hands and said, “Hello… do you not notice Alison trying to get your attention!?” that Marc finally caught on. He could hardly believe that someone as beautiful as Alison was interested in him. The next time she visited Mr. Lucky’s, Marc made his move and asked for her number. Their first date took place on April 23, 2022, at the Danville Brewery. Enjoying each other’s company so much, they decided to extend the evening with a trip to the Danville Bowling Alley. By the end of the night, Marc didn’t want to waste any time, he asked Alison on a second date the very next day. From that moment on, they’ve been inseparable. Fast forward to September 2024, Marc and Alison had planned a weekend getaway in Napa to celebrate Alison’s 30th birthday. On the morning of September 14th, they embarked on a hot air balloon ride, but Alison had no idea that Marc had something even more unforgettable in store. As they soared above the vineyards, Marc surprised her with a heartfelt proposal. Without hesitation, Alison said, “YES!” But the surprises didn’t stop there. Marc had secretly arranged for their closest friends and family to gather at Black Stallion Estate Winery to celebrate their engagement. The day was filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. Now, as they prepare to begin this next chapter together, Marc and Alison couldn’t be more excited to celebrate their love with family and friends this September.
