Take the train to Cinque Terre

Drive or take the train to La Spezia where you can take a train up to Cinque Terra. Parking is very difficult in Cinque Terre so public transportation is recommend. The southern most town is Riomaggiore, from there you can walk or continue on the train to the other 4 towns in Cinque Terre - Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso. Note: Montaione to La Spezia is 1 hr and 45min drive, so you will need to allocate a full day for this trip.
