If you're looking for a historic Boston neighborhood to walk around, this is our top pick! In part because of its beauty and in part because it is home to many of the best Italian restaurants we've ever been to. Make sure to stop by Mike's Pastry for a cannoli after dinner (or for a snack)!
Winthrop is the small oceanfront town where Nicole grew up and it has some pretty great small restaurants and businesses that we hope you try! Some of Nicole & Tyler's favorite restaurants in Winthrop are: The Winthrop Arms, La Siesta, D'Parma, Antique Table and Blackstrap BBQ. Right by the Springhill Suites on Revere Beach are a few really great new restaurants as well. We've really enjoyed our meals at Dryft and Mission Beach House and are looking forward to trying Fine Line as well.
Boston Harbor Cruises are a great way to get out on the water and see the Boston Harbor Islands (as well as views of Winthrop and Nahant). From dinner cruises to speed boat rides, there's something for everyone and its all easily accessible by public transit from the Springhill Suites.
If the weather is good, we recommend stopping by one of the beaches nearby! When we're home we like to hang out at Yirrell Beach in Winthrop but we also recommend checking out Revere Beach (America's oldest public beach, right across from the Springhill Suites) or Nahant Beach (a beautiful beach by our reception venue)!
