Matron of Honor
Amy is my older sister, and one of my biggest role models in life! I've always looked up to her, she was a huge reason why I wanted to attend CMU. I remember she took me up to Mt. Pleasant before school began and showed me around, that was such a fun day. Amy loves to sing, devouring a good book, and of course being a momma to her two kiddos. She was my saving grace when it came to registering for baby things and now she's been essential to help plan this beautiful day!
Bridesmaid
I met Anna when I was managing at Jimmy Johns. She had just moved to Michigan from Minnesota and was a breath of fresh air in my kitchen! We became fast friends and has always been someone I can lean on for support at any time of day or night. I am so lucky to have her be a part of my special day.
Bridesmaid
Marissa is one of my ride or die gal pals! She was one of the first friends I made when I was a new cashier at Jimmy John's. (Seeing a pattern here? :P) She was one of my managers at the time and we have sooo much in common. Marissa loves anime, videogames, movies, art, and makeup just like I do. She's also the kind of friend that I can call at any time and she'll be there for me...I can't express how much that means to me. Marissa has babysat Malcom for us a couple times and is just as in love with him as we are. You know it's a party when this girl pulls up!
Bridesmaid
Veronica. This woman is my best friend in the whole world. We met at CMU and were placed as blind roommates our freshman year. It was our destiny to meet each other! We both had a rough go at college, but had each other for support. Veronica has seen me at my worst and was always there to listen and help me heal. We deeply connected to each other by performing in recitals, and in the acapella group On The Rox while at Central. Veronica and I would get mistaken for sisters a lot of the time since we are so in sync. I am so honored to have her by my side in this new, exciting, adventure of getting married to my person.
Best Man
I met Micah at summer camp the summer of 6th grade. He mistook me for someone else. So to make up for his mistake we became best friends forever. We went to high school together and were roomates our senior year. Now we're both dad's and make dad jokes together. He has a wicked sense of humor and a great personality. Life is good with this man around.
Groomsman
Bob and I met in 6th grade, he was one of the first friends I made during a hard transitional phase for me. He is also my longest standing friend, even when we don't see each other often he would go out of his way to hangout and be there for me. He is the Godfather to Malcolm and if I ever need a favor I can count on him. He is a reliable man.
Groomsman
Malachi is a good friend who I met at the same time as Micah during summer camp of 6th grade. I wasn't the closest of friends with him at first but he was always great to hangout with and a considerate human being. When I first moved to Grand Rapids and I learned he was living in the area we soon hungout more and have become much closer and better friends. A great friend and man.
Groomsman
Dawei is a good friend who I met and became friends with in 7th grade. We are both nerds and enjoyed a lot of the same interests together. Now he is my workout buddy and has been a source of inspiration/admiration for hard work/ethic. He is one of my best friends.
Groomsman
Mike is my soon to be brother-in-law. He is better at me in videogames but I would never admit it to his face. He is a great guy and we have a lot in common. He is also a great Uncle to his nephew, and fun to have around.
