Millennium Park
This is one of our favorite parks in the area, there are so many trails to explore to just get away for while :) This is where we first met!
Waterfront / Gilmore Park
Another one of our favorite parks! This one has a beautiful waterfront trail that leads into a wooded area covered with wildflowers, filled with wildlife, and has a decent length so you can visit time and time again and discover new things.
Caledonia Lakeside Park
Our favorite park for a small stroll and just sitting by the ponds. Always a must to get ice cream in downtown Caledonia after too!
Ruehs Park
We had our engagement pictures taken here! It's got a little bit of everything, nice and small too.
Frederik Meijer Gardens
We go to this 'park' every year so I can see the beautiful butterflies! We are so excited to share this tradition with Malcolm.
Fallasburg Park
This park is on our 'need to visit' list! We have good friends in Lowell and they have nothing but good things to say about this lovely park.
Riverside Park
We've taken quick strolls around this park while in downtown Grand Rapids. Also Corgis in the Park is held here and that is the CUTEST event around.
Blandford Nature Center
This park always has so many cool community events going on! Also one of the nicest trails Ian and I have walked, very leisurely.
Belknap Park
Grands Rapid's only music festival is held in this park. We haven't been able to attend the festival yet but it's on our must do list :)
Fish Ladder Park
Fish Ladder dates are a must for Grand Rapids natives.
Lepard Nature Preserve
This park is so close to my family home and is perfect for a short little hike.
Huff Park
You can see deer running around this park all the time!
Provin Trails
46 miles of trails...Ian and I want to explore these so badly!
Ah-Nab-Awen Park
Popular downtown GR park. A must walk through.
Creekside Park
We took Ian's parents on a walk here when they came to see our apartment. It's a nice little family park.
Canal Park
Pretty sure we found this one touring Art Prize one year.
Burton Park
Burton just has trails for you to walk. No kids playground or anything, which gives you a quiet environment.
Ken-O-Sha Park
Funny story about this one - Ian's GPS had us driving in circles for a good half hour before we could find the entrance to this park!
Holland State Park
Our favorite beach to visit!
Rosy Mound Natural Area
It's got a funny name, but it's a nice spot!
Stagecoach Park
This park leads into a super long trail!
