What will happen if I do not RSVP by March 27th?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by March 27th, we will assume you are not attending; therefore, your reserved seat will no longer be available. Due to COVID restrictions we are following strict guidelines and will invite you to join us virtually.

Can I bring a date or guest?

Answer

Our private wedding and reception is invite only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your RSVP invitation. If your invitation does not indicate a 2, please refrain from bringing an additional guest.

What time should I arrive ?

Answer

We advise all guest to arrive plan accordingly to allow time for unexpected traffic, parking, and temperature checks. Ceremony doors will be open from 3pm-3:45pm, after which, no one will be allowed to enter the ceremony. Guests are welcomed to wait until the ceremony is over, and join us for the events that follow.

Will the ceremony and the reception take place outside or inside?

Answer

Both ceremony and reception will take place inside at the same location.

Are kids allowed at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only (21+) event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Are masks required?

Answer

In order to keep ourselves, our friends, and our families safe, we require that all guests wear a face mask during our ceremony and reception.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For your convenience, we have blocked a limited number of rooms at the Hyatt Place Columbia/ Downtown/The Vista Address: 819 Gervais Street , Columbia, South Carolina - 29201 To receive the wedding rate of $119 plus tax, reservations must be made by April 1, 2021. Please call 1-888-492-8847 and mention the Patterson-Thompson Wedding. Guests can check into their rooms as early as 1:00pm.

Will you require temperature checks before entry?

Answer

Of course! We will follow CDC guidelines throughout the entire day. Please arrive early for temperature checks. You will also be required to wear a CDC approved mask at all times.

Can I attend if I did not receive an invitation?

Answer

Unfortunately, you will not be able to attend if you did not receive an invitation due to restrictions.
