Katie and I met through work but became best friends bonding over our puppies. We spent many afternoons at the dog park and then realized we had even more in common like our love for Disney songs and broadway musicals, Chili's dinners & margs, and being out enjoying our days in the sun!

Proctor and I met at William Jewell college and were drawn to each other with a clear love of sarcasm. We later became roommates and our friendship grew. Proctor was a few years older than I, so from a maturity level, I was only slightly ahead of him. We loved to cause trouble but Proctor was always the voice of reason that kept our group out of real trouble. After 17 years of freindship, I can definitely say he is a man who you can count on. As Katie and Steven start their adventure, I know that he will always be her rock; to stand by her, support her, and to pick her up if she falls. I am so excited to see this lovely couple finally tie the knot. Congrats to the future Mr. and Mrs. Proctor!

Katie and I started our nursing careers together in Maternity, and have never looked back! We love going on adventures together to state fairs and Disneyland, but also enjoy movie dates at home. I am so excited for her and Steven to continue their journey together.

Steven and I met at William Jewell College and later became good friends during our time living in the fraternity house and working together after college. Since this time, it has been one heck of an adventure being a firsthand witness to all the shenanigans that have transpired since our friendship began. It would be a lot of fun sharing the many stories I have about Steven here, but the list would be far too long. With that being said, Steven has been a blessing to Dawn, Chase, and myself as he has been a reliable/supportive friend that will come to help at the drop of a hat. We are excited to see where his new adventure with Katie will take him as we could not have asked for a better person to be his life partner. Congrats to Steven and Katie!

I had the pleasure of meeting Katie 10+ years ago when we went to junior high/high school together. We have grown close over the years through our love of band (mostly the band trips) and bargain shopping 🙂 One of my favorite memories was the time we went to the Big Country Bash together. It had just down-poured the day before and the entire field turned into a mud pit. We had so much fun and by the end of the day we were covered in mud and cleaned up in a massive bubble pit. Katie is always up for an adventure and never backs down from a challenge. Katie is a genuine friend, a caring nurse, a hard worker, and a beautiful person inside and out. Katie and Steven complement each other perfectly, and I can’t wait to see their love continue to grow over the years! Cheers!

I've known the bride since middle school. We became close friends in 7th grade, after meeting in volleyball. We spent a good majority of our tweens and teens attending sports events, having sleep overs, shopping, and participating in other activities that for our parents sake we will keep to ourselves. haha. We have remained close friends through the years and supported each other through the ups and downs of life. I cannot express my excitement and joy for her and Steven. I know their journey together will be filled with love and endless adventures.

Steven and I are cousins, he is older than me, so we've known each other all of my life. We have always been close as we were both the baby of our families. Both of us have always been passionate about sports even if it isn't always for the same team. M.I.Z. There are so many memories that I can look back upon and smile, and some I wish I could remember just a bit better. Sometimes when we get together things can get pretty wild...like paramedics being needed or riding public transit for hours lost, kind of wild. I am really honored to get to share and stand beside not only my cousin, but one of my greatest friends on this happy day!

Katie and I met in nursing school but didn't hit it off until chemistry class, rather a funny story that we will keep to ourselves for now! We went from college friends to best buds with big plans and dreams. Katie has been by my side through a wedding and babies. I am so happy she found her person in life and that I get to stand up next to her and watch them grow into a family.

Steven (that's probably only about the third time I've ever called "Proctor" that) has been a good friend since my freshman and his sophomore year of college. He was my pledge dad in Phi Gamma Delta, but I often forget that as we have simply been good friends through a lot of time doing a lot of fun things while also growing up and becoming responsible adults. We've faced the fun times and more serious life events over the years. Even when we're not hanging out every weekend like back in the day, we can still pick up the conversation like it never left off. Friends and brothers for life!

Katie has been one of my closest friends in my lifetime so far. We met senior year during club volleyball, which we connected right away. I’ve called her my twin ever since I met her because of having so much in common, going through similar situations in life, and having practically the same birthday. I can’t even express how thankful I am to have Katie as a friend and a part of my life. I am so honored to be a part of Katie and Steven’s special day. I am also truly honored to have been a part of the day that Katie and Steven first met. Right off the bat I feel these two had connected, and I could see the happiness in Katie that Steven brought out. I first met Steven when he was born. It was a happy day for all but also a sad day for me. For this day, I was demoted to the ranks of being the middle child; AKA the lost child. Through all the trials and tribulations of having a younger brother, I gained a lifelong friend.

Katie and I met in middle school. We were not in any extracurricular activities together, but we had a small friend group that participated in the typical teenage things like sleepovers, going dancing, playing ping pong in my basement (lol) and having bonfires. When we parted ways for college we continued to stay in contact with one another, and have provided one another emotional support throughout all life's changes; always managing to meet up when I am back in town to catch up on each other's busy lives. I have always admired Katie's desire for adventure, love for experiencing new cultures, easy going personality, grace, strength and ambitious nature. I am thrilled Katie and Steven have found one another and will move through life together experiencing new milestones and endeavors.

Tiffany and Katie spent a lot of time together as kids, roaming around the Iowa State Fair since their parents got together there every year. Katie also got the honor of being Tiffany's labor and delivery nurse when Maia was born and has since been Maia's photographer to capture life milestones!
