Morgan is Megan's cousin, but realistically, more like a sister! Besides knowing each other for 30 years, they've briefly lived together, took a college class together, worked together and shared countless bottles of wine together.

Jon and Leroy met in high school and instantly bonded (BOILERS!). They were roommates throughout their time at Purdue, co-workers at the school newspaper, and pretty much the best of friends.

Jamie (James) is the official bestie of the bride. They've been friends since kindergarten, but really connected in middle school over *NSYNC, Girl Scouts, and generally being a bit weirder than everyone else.

Jon and Thor met in Lincoln, where they both worked covering Nebraska football. Their friendship grew over a love of R&B music, nights at Red9 and the occasional road trip across the Big Ten.

Heather moved in next door to Megan in 3rd grade, and they have been friends ever since. They've shared rides home from school, family dinners, summer dresses, and the occasional bowl of brownie batter.

Drew has been a friend of Jon's since high school. Jon spent a lot of time at Drew's house growing up where they mostly had all-night poker marathons and intense knee basketball tournaments.
Katie

Katie will be the first to tell you that she is Megan's oldest friend as their parents were friends before they were born. Their friendship has taken them to Disney World, Adventureland, Hollywood, and many places in-between.

Joe and Jon became friends during their freshman year at Purdue. They had many epic adventures in the halls of Cary Quad, at the Cactus and on the porch of the house.

Micki (Mikaela) and Megan we're randomly assigned as roommates at UNL their freshmen year of college. Random roomies quickly translated to O-town singing, red beer drinking, Husker loving, birthday sharing friends.
Jay

Like Thor, Jon also met Jay in Lincoln while working in sports media. They both enjoy the finer things in life -- like brunch, beer and basketball.
Jessica

Jessica and Megan met while studying abroad in Australia and New Zealand. Once back in the states, the friendship continued with vegetarian food nights, Trading Spouses, and trips to downtown Lincoln.
Shane

Shane, who's Megan's brother, is not only a friend of Jon's, but also a former roommate. Their friendship was solidified over life-changing experiences with a crazy neighbor, a rat infestation, and a TV that just wouldn't fit.

Carrie and Megan met through a mutual friend, and were roommates in college. Megan wasn't the only one who felt a connection though-Carrie has been dating Megan's brother Galen for the last 9 years.

Galen, also Megan's brother, quickly became a good friend of Jon's. Their shared interest in Big Brother, Survivor, the Braves (even when they do Barves things) and Fantasy Football have created an unbreakable bond.
Rachel

Rachel is Jon's younger sister, so it's no surprise that Rachel and Megan have become friends over the last 8 years. Seeing as Megan grew up with only brothers, she could not be more excited to have Rachel as a sister.
Jermaine

Jermaine, married to Jon's sister Rachel, has been part of Jon's family for many years. Though states apart, they're still able to get together over holidays and catch up on important things -- like which NFL free agent signing was best.
Ashley

Ashley, sister to Heather, was less like a friend and more like a sister-she-never-wanted. However, over the years their friendship has grown and now they spend most days together as they teach students at the same school.

Kyle and Megan met in the first weeks of college at UNL, and he eventually developed a friendship with Jon as well. Since then they have all traveled to Chicago, Vegas, and even the occasional visit to Sandy's (when Kyle allows).
