Two young, freshman Colonials met at 1900 F Street Northwest, a.k.a. Thurston Hall, a.k.a. Thirsty Thurston. You'd think that as they were assigned rooms nearly across the hall from each other, it HAD to be fate. And turns out it was! BUT only after months of trying to "figure it out" as a college student, i.e. waking up to make an 8am lecture (Jeff..), learning how to make crystal crunk (Jeff..), and trying not to fail chemistry and economics all at one time (Devin..). Once we finally came up for air in the midst of the first finals season, we had our first kiss in the second floor laundry room. While we didn't know it then, it was merely the beginning.... Fast forward nine years later. We've traded laundry room make outs and dining hall dates to sharing our very own apartment to kiss in, and have made dining out in D.C. (and every other place they've visited together) one of our absolute favorite pastimes. And as our relationship evolved, so did our love of traveling, good food & drink (not mutually exclusive), and ultimately brought us to Stone Tower Winery. Stone Tower quickly became a special place for us as a couple, and on our first visit there in 2015, we even joked about getting married here one day.. CRAZY RIGHT?! On to the next big adventure, and we can't wait.
