Basilica Cistern
Historical Site - just make sure to not stare too long at the medusa head.
Hagia Sophia Museum
Historical Site - you've probably seen this one in movies...its even better in person!
Spice Bazaar
Historical Site/Huge Candy Store - another place similar to the Grand Bazaar. Be sure to get some Turkish "lokum" (Turkish Delight) while you're there. It's one of the oldest deserts in the world.
Topkapi Palace Museum
Historical Site - This one is a full day expedition so bring everything you need with you.
Galata Tower
Historical Site - Best to view this one during sunset. First person to fly with artificial wings used this tower to jump from.... just don't try to reenact it.
Hodjapasha
Event/show - This is just one of many traditional Turkish Dervish shows. This one is near many of the historical sites we listed.
