Ufu & Nehemiah

~ Our Engagement ~

In October 2024, Ufu traveled to Milan, Italy, for a work trip. Despite recovering from an Achilles rupture that limited her mobility, she didn’t let it dampen her spirit! Nehemiah joined her because, well, #Italy.  On October 15th, Nehemiah suggested they meet up with some friends of his who were also vacationing in Milan for a lovely dinner. When they arrived at the Duomo di Milano—a magnificent cathedral that took over 600 years to complete—some "strangers" offered to take their picture. Suddenly, Lovebug by the Jonas Brothers, a song with special meaning to the couple, began playing. That’s when Nehemiah got down on one knee and proposed. The Duomo’s legacy, built over centuries, inspires us as we begin our journey together. Like the Duomo that continues to bring joy to its visitors, we hope our union will bear fruit for generations to come. 💕
