FAQs

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests (including children) that are not named on your invitation and RSVP form.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Nehemiah and Ufu both have HUGE families. Since venue space is limited and we want to keep the event as intimate as possible, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation and RSVP form.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress codes for each event can be found in the details under the "Schedule" tab.

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough, but should you wish to offer us a gift, we would most appreciate contributions on the 'Registry' section of our website or monetary gifts in person.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue(s)?

Answer

We recommend either getting a car rental or sharing ubers with fellow guests. There is onsite parking at both venues

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved hotel room blocks that are about 30m to each wedding venue - please see the "Travel" tab of the website. If you are looking outside of these hotels, we recommend staying in Grapevine, Coppell, Flowermound, Southlake, or Alliance Town Center.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. Weather-permitting the cocktail hour will be outside. The average temperature in Dallas this time of year is typically between 55 °F to 75 °F but recent years have been warmer.

Question

I've never been to a Nigerian wedding. Are there cultural norms I should know about?

Answer

There are over 250 ethnic tribes in Nigeria and many have their own unique traditions or norms that we are excited to share with you. One norm that is commonplace is one of "money spraying." You can read more at the article below: https://www.hitched.co.uk/wedding-planning/organising-and-planning/nigerian-wedding/

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

You are welcome to take photos at the Saturday Nigerian event. On Sunday, we invite you to be fully present with us; unless otherwise told, please keep all devices turned off during the Sunday ceremony in the chapel.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please visit the "RSVP" button in the menu.

Question

Who should I contact if I have more questions?

Answer

Please contact a member of the couple or their parents.
