Guests should fly into Porto Airport (OPO).
Braga is approximately a 45-minute drive from Porto Airport. We recommend guests take a rideshare or taxi to Braga, however, there are public transportation options available.
Transportation will be provided from two pick-up locations to the wedding: Avenida Central (downtown Braga) and Meliá Braga. After the wedding, transportation will only be provided from the venue to the listed hotels on the accommodations page. Guests should plan to use taxi or rideshare services for the welcome party.
Yes. Traditional taxis and rideshare services are widely available. Common apps in Portugal include Uber and Bolt. However, availability may be more limited late at night or when traveling to or from areas outside of Braga, such as the wedding venue, so we recommend planning ahead if you intend to use these services.
The ceremony and reception will both be held at Quinta Lago dos Cisnes. Guests should plan to arrive in the early afternoon, with the ceremony beginning shortly after arrival. Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour and dinner reception. While the formal program concludes with the cake cutting at 11:00 PM, the celebration will continue until 3:00 AM.
October weather in Braga is typically mild and comfortable. Guests can expect pleasant daytime temperatures and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for later in the night. Average temperature is 65°F/18°C.
The dress code for the wedding is Black Tie Optional. The dress code for the welcome party is Cocktail Attire.
We recommend arriving on Saturday to rest and explore Braga. Wedding events will take place on Sunday and Monday. (October 10 - October 13)
We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to planning and event logistics, we are only able to host guests listed on the RSVP. Invitations are not transferable. We appreciate your understanding
