Dear Family and Friends, We know a destination wedding is a big ask, and we truly appreciate the time, effort, and expense it takes to celebrate with us. Your presence means the world to us, and we’d love for you to join if you’re able. Below are a few details to help make your travel planning easier. We recommend arriving in Portugal on Saturday, October 10, 2026, to allow time to settle in before the welcome party on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The wedding will take place on Monday, October 12, 2026, and we suggest planning to depart on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Guests should plan to stay in Braga during this time. Braga is about a 45-minute drive from Porto Airport (OPO) and will serve as the base for both the welcome party and the wedding day. Taxi prices from Porto to Braga generally range from €35 to €65, depending on the time of day and service. There is also an efficient bus connection from Porto Airport to Braga city center for approximately €15, which offers a comfortable and convenient alternative. Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue on the wedding day from a selection of hotels in Braga. Please review the Accommodation section for a list of recommended hotels. If your schedule allows, we encourage you to extend your trip and explore more of Portugal or other nearby European destinations before or after the wedding.
