Enjoy breathtaking views of the Bow Valley and surrounding mountain ranges on the 8 minute ride up the gondola. We visited here right after getting engaged and had dinner at the top which was an unforgettable experience. You can pre-purchase gondola tickets on their website, and be sure to check out the scenic one-mile boardwalk that winds above the mountaintops!
This is where we celebrated our engagement! Amazing staff with absolutely stunning views. You'll need to take the Banff Gondola to get here.
One of Banff''s most iconic locations! Get here early to avoid the crowds. Many hiking trails are accessible from this location - Kat's favorite is the Beehive!
Where we got engaged! Short, easy paved hike deep in the heart of Banff. If you have a rental car, we highly recommend doing the drive from Canmore to Peyto Lake to see part of the Icefields Parkway (stop at Bow Lake and take in the views! This is where we did our engagement photos!)
Right in the heart of Canmore, this is a super cozy upscale dining experience. We highly recommend making a dinner reservation in advance as they tend to get busy! We strongly suggest trying their Grilled Farm Chicken (big enough to share between two people) and their Crispy Smashed Potatoes!
Cozy bar/tavern in downtown Canmore. They offer Trivia every Wednesday Night between 8:30-10pm and Live Music on Thursday Nights 9-11pm if you get into town early!
A rustic eatery in the heart of Banff serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
Iron Goat offers one of the best mountain view patios in the Bow Valley. They offer locally sourced Canadian cuisine and are known for having a lot of gluten free options!
One of Banff's premier steakhouses! Highly recommended during our time in Banff.
Our first dinner in Canmore! Enjoy a large selection of foods with stunning mountain views!
Craft brewery, beer garden, mountain landscape - need we say more?
A distillery serving food and local handmade spirits.
Banff's favorite brewpub since 2010.
Relax and soak in Banff's gorgeous landscape at this open air hot springs!
One of Kat's favorite places! Take note - this lake isn't open year-round, and when it is a shuttle is needed to access it.
