Travel Note
Hood River, Oregon is a gorgeous little city located along the Columbia River Gorge, about an hour drive east from Portland on I-84/HWY 30. Staying in Hood River or nearby towns (like The Dalles or White Salmon) is recommended, especially if you love hiking or outdoor activities, but the distance also makes for an easy day trip from the Portland/Vancouver area. If you will be flying into or staying in Portland and need a ride to get to Hood River, let us know. We are more than happy to help with coordinating carpools and/or alternate transportation!
Hotel
This is where the ceremony and reception will be held. Until March 21st, all rooms at the hotel are blocked for guests for the event date (May 14th). Reservations under the block can be made by calling the hotel and mentioning that you will be attending the Dela Rosa-Kelleher wedding. ***Make sure to mention that you are attending the event, otherwise they may say that there are no rooms available*** After March 21st, reservations can be made but will be first come, first serve as the rooms will be released to public booking. This historic local landmark was built in 1921, located right on the Columbia River. Aside from its gorgeous views of the river, the hotel boasts exclusive access to the Wah Gwin Gwin waterfall which flows through the grounds. During the time of steamers and speakeasies, Valentino and the Model T people were dancing the Charleston and listening to jazz throughout our wonderful hotel."
