George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) or Hobby Airport (HOU)
IAH is the closest airport to the wedding venue (located North of Houston). It is about a 50 minute drive (without traffic) to Pine Lake Ranch and a 30 minute drive to Downtown Houston. HOU is south of Houston, and is mainly used for Southwest Airlines flights. It is 20 minutes to downtown Houston and about 1 hour 15 minutes to Pine Lake Ranch.

It has bars, restaurants, lake views, etc. If you want a home base that is near the venue, this may be a good option! If you are wanting to stay a little closer to Houston, The Woodlands is still North of Houston and a 30 minute drive to the venue. There are hotels in this area, as well as AirBNB and VRBO options. We recommend staying near Waterway Square if you are wanting to walk to a couple restaurants instead of drive! Downtown Houston is an hour drive from the venue. Anywhere in "the Loop" (which is highway 610 on a map...it forms a "loop" around the best areas!) is usually a good bet. We love the neighborhoods of Montrose, the Heights, Downtown, or the Museum District. They each have their own personality, but good food and good drinks are plentiful, and museums, breweries and shows are nearby!
