Question

What will the weather be like in Rancho Mirage?

Answer

It looks like the weather will be a bit cooler than normal for November in the Palm Springs area (but still lovely!) with daytime highs in the low 70s / high 60s and evening lows in the low 50s / high 40s. We'll have heaters for outdoor events on Friday and Saturday night, but we'd recommend bringing a jacket or layer for the evenings when it can get a bit chilly!

Question

What is the dress code for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Semi-Formal Attire: We recommend cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits for women, and coat and tie for men. For the Ceremony, we'll be on grass so please select shoes accordingly! For the Reception, we'll be outdoors so we recommend bringing a light layer or wrap as it can get cooler in the evenings once the sun goes down.

Question

Where are the events located? How do I get there?

Answer

All weekend events will be held in locations onsite at the Omni resort near the main lobby. Guest rooms at the Omni are all within a <10 minute walk of the lobby and golf cart rides for transportation around the resort can be reserved if needed. Please let us know if you need transportation, and we can help with scheduling.

Question

Will there be any Covid protocols for the wedding?

Answer

While we are not expecting to have any official Covid protocols from our venue, we are continuing to monitor the situation and wanted to highlight a few points: 1) all events throughout the wedding weekend (with the exception of the after party on Saturday) will be held outdoors to minimize risk 2) out of respect for other guests, we ask that folks test in advance of the wedding if possible, particularly if you have a potential exposure 3) the FDA recently approved updated booster vaccines that cover the most recent Covid strains, which are free of charge and broadly available at pharmacies including CVS and Walgreens. All adults who completed their initial Covid vaccination and received their most recent vaccine more than two months ago are eligible for the updated boosters, so we'd encourage all guests to get up-to-date on their vaccinations before attending!
