Jenna Plunkett and Brent Norton are two unique individuals who fell in love; their differences, as well as their similarities, are what led us here. Brent is a sports enthusiast and passionate Atlanta Braves fan; you'll rarely see him without his Braves hats or t-shirts. More importantly, he is a loyal friend with a huge heart who deeply values family. Brent would give the shirt off his back to those he cares for, and he offers so much grace to those he meets who are struggling. After many years of traveling and living in exciting cities, Brent moved to New Orleans and has been there for ten years. However, Huntsville, AL, is where Brent grew up, and he hopes to return closer to there to start his own family. Jenna works from home in marketing and in her spare time, enjoys spending time with her nephews and family, reading, and cooking. New Orleans always held a warm place in Jenna’s heart, so when the opportunity presented itself, Jenna moved to the city she loved and has been there for five years now. Jenna grew up in Riverdale and Crofton, MD, and looks forward to returning to small-town life to build her future family. All love stories have to start somewhere, and the best ones are the ones you never see coming. On a warm May night in 2022, Brent was working at Vampire Cafe, and Jenna was being dragged out of the house by a roommate who said she needed to get out more. Little did they know that that night would begin their forever. They slowly formed a friendship based on shared interests in films, television shows, and books. The all-night conversations became more and more frequent until June; by this point, they knew this was something more than just friendship, and the romance began officially on June 30. On a balcony in the French Quarter of New Orleans, under the June moonlight, they shared a sweet first kiss (after Brent asked for consent). Over the next year, they went to concerts and festivals, hosted game nights, celebrated holidays, and enjoyed each other's company on weekend getaways. They supported each other through the ups and downs of life with unfailing honesty, trust, and faith in each other. Their love changed both of their lives for the better and showed them that it was possible for love to heal you instead of breaking you. On July 1, 2023, Brent asked Jenna to marry him on the cobblestone bridge at City Park after asking for her mom's blessing earlier that day. Jenna wholeheartedly agreed, and now they are excited to begin the next chapter in their love story. It means the world to Jenna and Brent for you to be part of their story.
