Colorado Rockies Fireworks Game at Coors Field (6/30 or 7/1)
We can't claim that our MLB team is good, but Coors Field is a great baseball field and the Rockies put on an incredible fireworks show.
Denver Zoo
Denver has a great zoo with lots of recent expansions to the habitats. Definitely worth a visit! Note that a reservation for timed entry is required; you can make a reservation and buy tickets online.
Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Denver has an incredible museum with many great exhibits. Our favorites are Prehistoric Journey, Gems & Minerals, and Space Odyssey. Discovery zone is great for little ones! We recommend buying tickets online in advance.

See and taste traditional brewing at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in the largest single-site brewery in the world!
Stranahan's Whiskey Distillery Tour & Cocktail Bar
An hour-long guided tour where you learn about the fascinating history of Stranahan’s, with samples of course!! We also highly recommend grabbing a cocktail from the tasting room.
Meow Wolf Denver | Convergence Station
Meow Wolf's Denver "Convergence Station" is an immersive art experience for all ages. Just wander around and explore the four alien worlds merged by a cosmic event or grab a QPASS for the interactive quest.
Golden Gate Canyon State Park
This is one of Colorado's lovely and somewhat under-rated state parks and has lots of beautiful trails. Note that there is a $10 park entrance fee.
