Wedding Party

A celebration this personal deserves the people who know us best. Our wedding party is small by design - just the two of us, joined by the sisters who have shaped our lives, cheered us on, and stood beside us long before this day. This page honors the four of us stepping into a new chapter together, surrounded by love that feels like home.

Emily Norgord

Bride

Emily is one of the most impressive women I've ever met. She's kind, fun, smart, easy to get along with, driven, immensely talented, and beautiful. Emily is the kind of person who commits to things and makes them as good as they can be. Whether she's redoing the countertops, making work instructions, presenting to a customer, or planning a wedding, you can be sure she'll give it all she's got and the end result will be great. For almost all things in life, Emily's default response is an enthusiastic "ok!". Emily let's go for a hike "ok!", Emily let's camp on an Island in France and not stay in a hotel all week "ok!", Emily let's camp in Alaska "ok!", Emily let's go for a motorcycle ride when it's 30 degrees out "ok" (that one was a bit less enthusiastic), and so many more. The only time she wasn't enthusiastic is when I first asked her out, I got a very hesitant "sure", but I'll take what I can get. Emily is a person who loves living life and exploring. Also, she'll use any excuse she can find to climb a tree. I feel fortunate that Emily has been able to meet 3 of my 4 grandparents, only one of whom is still with us. One of the last things Grandpa Flor told me was "This Emily girl, she's the kind of girl you marry. Don't let her get away". Will do Gramps, will do. I look forward to spending the rest of our lives together. I don't know what our future has in store, but I do know that we can handle it together.

Jack Mason

Groom

This man can pull numbers out of thin air and will be continuously, ridiculously accurate every time. His vast knowledge of history, religion, law, and engineering has earned him nicknames like “JackGPT” and, during bar trivia, “Sheldon.” His curiosity and hunger for learning are qualities I deeply admire, he can master anything he sets his mind to, and he has the drive to chase every new challenge. Together, we’ve backpacked through Corsica, Alaska, the Smokies, and South Cumberland. We’ve slept under stars, watched the northern lights, huddled together against the cold, fought with stubborn campfires, lived off whatever we could carry, and roamed a slice of the lower 48. Every so often, we traded trail dust for cobblestones, exploring Paris with the same sense of wonder we bring to the wilderness. Once we even drove an absurd number of hours just to see Concorde, only to turn right back around like two happy, sleep‑deprived weirdos. He’s brilliant, loyal, goofy, and endlessly supportive. With Jack as my partner, every adventure feels possible, and I can’t wait to see where the next one leads us.

Aubrey Norgord

Maid of Honor

Our family used to insist Aubrey would be my maid of honor one day, and I’d fire back with a dramatic “Ew, no way.” We were sisters who didn’t always understand each other, who pushed and pulled and tested every boundary we could. But at some point somewhere along the line, she became someone I deeply admire. She is fiercely driven, wildly creative, and the most supportive, honest, friend I could've asked for. Now, the thought of standing here without her doesn’t make sense. What once felt impossible has become one of the things I’m most grateful for.

Hannah Mason

Best Woman

Throughout my life I have been fortunate enough to have a lot of family support. My Mom, Dad, and Grandparents always were there to support me, but I've only ever had 1 "biggest fan" and that's my sister Hannah. Honestly I've always felt uneasy about anyone but Hannah being my "best man". While we did get on each other's nerves when we were little, we've also been on the same team for as long as I can remember. Hannah was the first family member I introduced to Emily, and I'm glad to have her on my side in the wedding (sorry Emily, she's mine).
