The Fensalden is located just south of Mendocino on California’s beautiful northern coast. While there are no large hotel chains in the area, you’ll find plenty of charming inns, boutique hotels, Airbnbs, and Vrbos nearby! The closest major airports are in the Bay Area: San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), and San Jose (SJC).
The drive to the venue takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on your starting point and traffic. While it’s a bit of a journey, the route is incredibly scenic—especially the final stretch along Highway 1, which winds along cliffs, redwood forests, and ocean views. If time allows, consider stopping in Anderson Valley, Navarro River Redwoods, or Point Arena. Cell service can be limited near the coast, so we recommend downloading directions in advance and fueling up beforehand.
