A Vermont mainstay and must-see for the beer connoisseurs among us. 10-minute Uber ride or drive from downtown Burlington.
Church Street Restaurants & Shops
This is sort of the "main drag" for shopping, cafes and restaurants in Burlington. Go visit Banana Republic, where Jeff was once a lowly stock-boy, or head to the Red Onion Cafe for a memorable sandwich.
Leunig's Bistro
Great dining spot if you're craving steak frites, swordfish loin and/or crispy quail breast. Oh you fancy, huh?
Church Street Tavern
Centrally located bar/restaurant with an (allegedly) decent brunch. Good place to sit outside and people watch.
El Cortijo
Quirky 1950s-era diner serving AMAZING tacos and margaritas. Ranks among Norah's favorite restaurants of 2017 (keep in mind that we traveled to a couple dozen countries that year).
The Vermont Pub & Brewery
Another classic Vermont beer spot; a bit more centrally located than Magic Hat.
Oakledge Park
Lovely spot for enjoying Lake Champlain. Bring a picnic and/or go for a swim.
Mount Philo
Beautiful (and relatively quick) 2-mile loop trail with stunning views at the top. Trailhead is located about 20 minutes from downtown Burlington. Highly recommend!
Burlington Discover Jazz Festival
Jazzfest is taking place in Burlington from May 31-June 9. Lots of events to check out around town, including some free ones.
Red Onion Cafe
Great sandwiches to eat in or take out. Our friend Cally recommends the chicken salad!
