It's confusing these days, right?! For the wedding itself, we're suggesting cocktail attire (men in suit and tie, women in cocktail dresses or dressy pantsuits). For the welcome dinner, please wear whatever you are most comfortable in. Be sure to bring a sweater or light jacket for both occasions as it may get a little chilly at night.
We encourage you to bring your little ones to our welcome dinner on Friday. However, we're asking that Saturday be an adult-only event. If you need to arrange childcare, let us know -- we can work with you to make it happen.
Jeff has a penchant for coming up with nicknames, and for whatever reason, 'Norma' is the one that he stuck on me several years ago. So I started calling him Jerry — the “old man” counterpart to my “old lady” nickname — and here we are: Norma and Jerry, Jerry and Norma. Till death do us part.
Nope. If you are flying into Burlington (BTV) you can grab a 15-20 minute taxi or Uber downtown. We’ll provide transportation to/from the welcome dinner and wedding venues.
After the reception wraps up at Shelburne, the party will continue at Three Needs, a cozy bar in Burlington where we have a semi-private space reserved. The bar is a short walk from most of the hotels in the area.
