The Cliff Walk

The Cliff Walk

Park at Easton's Beach and walk to the beginning of The Cliff Walk. This portion is paved and easy to walk (the second half is rocky). You will enjoy endless ocean views and a glimpse of Newport's historic mansions.

It would not be a trip to Newport without at least one Mansion tour. Our favorite (and most over the top) is The Breakers.

Bowen's Warf

Visit Bowen's Warf for shopping and a cup of clam chowder at The Black Pearl.

If you have a car, this drive is a MUST.

When on Ocean Drive, stop by Castle Hill. There is a stunning lighthouse on the property and you can stop by the restaurant deck to soak up the seaside views with a glass of wine!

Fort Adams is former US Army post that is now enjoyed by visitors of the park and home to Newport's Folk Fest and Jazz Fest. This is a wonderful place for a walk and to see a full view of Newport's Pell Bridge.

A flat 1.5 mile walk with gorgeous ocean views, The Ocean Trail at Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Need more? This is close to Second Beach (Surfer's End) and Purgatory Chasm.
