Things To Do

Boise is definitely a "doing" city. We love it for its accessibility to the outdoors. We highly recommend taking some time to explore the local hiking trails, walk or rent a bike to ride along the Greenbelt river path, or just bop around town, checking out the many breweries and parks the city has to offer. While we love Boise, it is not the full story of our love of Idaho. If you are able to extend your trip, we highly recommend visiting Stanley, Idaho (3 hours away), McCall (2.5 hours away) or Sun Valley (2.5 hours away) for an overnight or day trip to see some incredible mountain, nature and early fall colors. Boise is a 5 hour drive from the Grand Tetons, 5 hours from Bend, Oregon, 8 hours from Yellowstone or Bozeman, and 5 hours from Salt Lake City. Below are some of our favorite spots around town!
