Megan and Benjamin met while going to a concert with mutual friends in April 2014. After enjoying a night of dancing together, Ben knew that Megan was a rare find - almost as rare as getting Megan to dance again! Megan and friends returned to Ben's apartment after the concert and stayed up until the wee hours of the morning getting to know more about one another. Refusing to miss out on his opportunity, Ben reached out to Megan the next day in hopes to turn one impromptu date into many. After asking Megan how she felt, however, Ben's stomach dropped. "Oh no...", he thought, as he read the text he had ALREADY sent Megan at 1:00 AM inviting her and friends to his apartment. Ben avoided his phone in embarassment for a few minutes, but finally managed the strength to think back to the text already sent. "Why on earth would I invite her to my apartment when Megan and her friends were already at my apartment?" Courageously, Ben looked back to the text exchange and picked up some new timestamp information. While indeed the text was sent at 1:00 AM, it was not sent in April - it was sent on New Years day. Megan and Ben met each other not once, but twice - and both times meeting they gravitated to each other... One of those times SLIGHTLY more successfully than the other. After loudly proclaiming to his friends that he was NOT lying about the gorgeous blonde girl he met at NYE, Ben went right back to talking to Megan and has not looked back since. It's a very unique opportunity to meet twice, and they are thankful everyday that the universe gave them two chances to get it right. Eight short years, two puppies, and one tiny apartment later, Megan and Ben could not be more excited to get married and see what's in store for their next chapter.
