About 5 years ago, their paths to discovering and falling in love with each other began. Their pairing may not have been obvious at first, but now I can’t imagine a better match for one another! In January of 2013, their paths intersected when they walked through GEICO’s doors to begin training for a career, they hoped would brighten their futures. At the time, they did not know how bright that future would get. Sparks had not yet flown, but a friendship began to blossom. For the next couple of years, there was seldom a day would pass that they did not speak. Even though they would spend every work day together, sitting 15 feet apart, Gary would still walk her to her car at night. This is where Gary started laying the ground work to win her heart! Then one evening, in 2015, as Gary escorted Stephanie to her car he noticed her tire was punctured and had gone flat. Being a Gentleman, he offered to drive her home and she easily accepted. She mentioned she would need a glass of wine after the day they have had and with a laugh he offered to share a bottle he was saving at home. She would later find out it was his roommate’s bottle all along. From there they made things official and began building their life together. Their bond has since become unbreakable! They are the opposites that attract. Growing each other’s lives in ways they wouldn’t have imagined being apart. He convinced her to backpack overnight on the Appalachian Trail. 20 miles later she would see the true beauty of nature. She coaxes him to spending Sunday’s in a lazier fashion than he was accustom to. Though, he has realized he doesn’t always have to be on the go and to allow for time to rest. They are both sarcastic and treat it as a sport…competitive! Nothing like a bit of playful bickering to say, “I love you”.
